Now is the Time to Spring Forward in Increasing Your Sales

This weekend we all will be moving our clocks one hour forward.

(except for Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, most of the Eastern Time Zone of the State of Indiana, and the state of Arizona. That is all. All the rest of you are with me.)

With so many people complaining about the economy and the state of affairs, here is another way to look at Daylight Savings and take control of your situation.

Think of it this way:

You have just been given another hour of daylight and lose one hour of nighttime.

Since the night is the less productive time of day, look at as you are getting 60 more minutes of being productive each day.

There is a trade off; you will be losing time in those highly productive and income producing activities you are involved in the evenings like watching TV.

Studies have long proven that daylight helps you to be more productive and healthy; it is only natural that your sales actively will go up, but what else are you doing to help with this?

What will you be doing with your extra 60 Minutes of Productivity? What improvements in “You” can you do with this?

• Can you reach out to 5 more existing customers and see how they are doing?

• How about stopping in to see 1 new prospect today?

• Take time to plan out your week, month or even the next year?

• What about exercising and walking in the morning?

• When was the last time you sat down and read a book to expand your professional development?

These 60 minutes are yours; however, you decide to invest in that extra hour of day light is your decision. Your choice makes your future.

If you constantly complain of your situation and continue to do what you have always done, you will continue to get what you have always gotten. Get it. Break the cycle.
